Fully embroidered kashmir pashmina wraps, scarves and stoles. Our Kashmir wool, the purest in the world, contains 20% authentic pashmina. Real pashmina is very expensive and this is actually an excellent percentage for these hand embroidered items. Don't be fooled by stores claiming they will sell you a pure hand embroidered Kashmir pashmina stole at anything close to these prices. Those items would cost you a fortune suzni embroidered. The truth of the matter is that it takes 3 goats a year to produce enough of this fiber to produce one pure shawl. Real authentic kashmir pashmina is rare. It comes from the underbelly and throat area of the capra hircus Himalayan mountain goat species only, and at heights above 14,000 feet. This fiber is 6x finer than a human hair. Only 14 microns in comparison to cashmere wool which comes in around 19 microns. The species also has the best natural insulating properties found on earth. Its better than cashmere. Quite honestly, i can say that you are better off buying these extremely soft, warm items instead of getting ripped off. Our products are excellent. You have to understand that some sellers will call anything pashmina these days. The terms "pure" and "100%" are often used when in reality these products may not contain any fibers at all from this particular goat's soft downy undercoat. Our very high quality pashmina wraps feature fine traditional suzni needlework embroidery, very intricate in comparison to larger crewel work done with a hook.
